Welcome To The IFIS Home Page
IFIS - The Institute for Impure Science - is the Royal Holloway Sci-Fi and Fantasy society and has existed at RHBNC/RHUL since sometime in the 1970s, pre-dating the formation of the Student Union that it is now a part of.
During that time it has, almost without doubt, been the most active non-sporting student society, organising at least one event every week.
So if you love science fiction or fantasy in any of its many forms, then come and join us and meet other like minded people.
Films / Events
The year has finished so there'll be no more scheduled events until the new term starts in October.
After whatever we organise on Tuesdays, we'll be meeting in Crosslands (Founders) afterwards.

Help contribute to your website by adding new content! If you look around the Multimedia section, you'll notice that you can now add new areas and files to it. For (hopefully) obvious reasons, everything is moderated but it shouldn't take long for most things to get approved.
Just a reminder - the library is open for members to borrow books. All those unloved tomes require reading!
