- Quick query - is Stargate (the video being shown this evening) any good
or would I have a better time having a few drinks at the Ascot while
it's showing?
It's quite pretty.
Sadly, I expect most of the splendour/grandeur of the thing will be lost at a
video event.
It's about as good as Independence Day.

Stargate, has a very good plot and fine special effects.
It does however suffer from some poor acting in places.
Worth seeing once.
(the Book is supposed to be quite good)
