Upcoming conventions

I realise it is a while since IFIS hosted it's own convention but this should not be a bar to anyone visiting others.
The upcoming Eastercon is this year being held in 'London', in fact at the Radisson Edwardian hotel near Heathrow, and thus may be worth attempting. Here is a link to the convention Yahoo group if anyone is individually interested http://groups.yahoo.com/group/orbital_2008/ or perhaps some sort of IFIS outing could be considered ?

I know there is talk amongst some of the not so regular Thursday crowd about
going to EasterCon.

And there's also Picocon which I'm certainly keen on going to again after
enjoying it so much last year.
