Joining the society is really simple to do and here is how you can go about it.
Every year during Freshers week, the SU organise a 2 day event known as the Freshers Fayre where you can discover more about the various clubs and societies. IFIS will definitely be there and you can meet some of our members and/or committee and find out what we're planning for the coming year.
If any of this interests you, you can join the society at the sign up desk or if you're not yet convinced or want to know more, then you can sign up to our weekly non-members' newsletter. The cost for joining is the same as all the other societies and is currently 7 per year.
If you don't manage to make it to Freshers Fayre, then all is not lost. If you visit our page on the RHUL SU website and login, you can pay and join us online at any point during the year.
You might also be able to join at our events, but this is now being reviewed with the arrival on the new online joining system. If it is still possibly to do this, you just need to find one of our helpful committee members and hand over your membership fee and contact details.
Note Some of our events are purely for our members, so if you turn up to one of them, please do not be offended if we insist you join first before you can take part.
