A special day for all Star Wars fans - May the Fourth be with you!

Star Wars day is every year on the 4th of May. It is derived from a pun on the Jedi phrase "May the force be with you", namely "May the Fourth be with you".

Everyone is invited to bring along some movies and we'll pick something on the night. And then we'll go to Crosslands afterwards.

Adam Roberts, who some of you will know as a lecturer at Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL), is also a Science Fiction author and he's doing a signing at the Waterstones in Staines.

This day is celebrated as the Fall of Sauron. As of 2003 that day is known as Tolkien Reading Day, an event to encourage the use of Tolkien's works in education and library reading groups.
