A policeman discovers a magical key. Unlock any door with it and it takes you a motel room. A motel room that is lost outside of time and space. No matter what you do inside the room or leave behind, it returns to the exact same state when you shut the door. By accident his daughter, falls foul of this and so begins a dangerous journey of discovery and wonder as he tries to track down more artefacts related to the room that might enable him to get his daughter back. But there are others after the artefacts too - strange cabals, wealthy businessmen and criminals, all with their own strange agendas. And then there is the mystery behind the room and what really happened to it.
