District 9, Tuesday 18th May, 7pm, ALT 2.

Hello all,

This week we're watching District 9, the gripping South African tale of
discrimination, apartheid and FOOKIN' PRAWNS.
A massive spaceship appears in the skies over Johannesburg, and the alien
refugees are housed in the ghettoes of District 9. Wikus van de Merwe, an
employee of the Alien Affairs department of the sinister Multinational
United corporation, finds himself embroiled in the fortunes of the aliens.

After the film, we'll be heading to the Stumble Inn, where readings from our
dreadful fanfiction competition will be conducted. The "winner" will be
euthenised.
