Ye gods! Long? It made my head hurt.
And it was a repeat.
I read it all the first time.

Anyway - two points.

No. I think people just couldn't be bothered deleting the tat.
Also, they log in, thinking "wow - lots of mail", and then find out it's all
rubbish. The disappointment must be unbearable. There they were thinking "Hey!
I've got a life - people email me!" and then "Oh no - it's just IFIS".

2) Why don't we wait until Nick publishes the results of the vote?
I've voted. Only the once too.

To be honest, the extent to which I care about most of all this is quite
minimal. It's not going to affect my life if the library is stored on the moon.
I only contribute on the subject out of boredom.

I only started talking on this subject because I didn't want the IFIS
list to turn into a digest. It seems that I was partially responsible for
creating a huge amount of 'irrelevent discussion.' Sorry guys.

Still, it was funny.

Trouble is, the more people post, the more people want to post. I've seen
this kinda thing before, and it ends up with people at eachother's
throats. So let's all stop, wait for the vote, and we can all happily
complain about the result. (There WILL be some people who won't like the
result.) In the meantime, don't forget the video evening tomorrow, 7:00,
Lec B.
