An amusing little sf short story I read concerning an attempt to
build a teleporter ended up with a scene something like this.
Prof a,b + c in lab1, prof d+e in lab 2
Profs a+b over phone- Yes, we've recieved the block of lead. it worked
we sent matter over the phone line.
profs d+e- dam it didn't work we've still got the lead. What you say youve
got it? It must have created a copy somehow, but e=mc2 where did it get the energy or matter from
profs a+b- where's prof c
