Stardates Explained - 20101202.2230

You don't understand the startdates?

Take, for example, 20101202.2230

Let me stick some spaces in some helpful places:

2010 12 02 . 22 30

That better?

20101202 means 2nd December 2010, and 2230 is in 24-hour clock format, IE 10:30PM

Stardates in the Star Trek universe work in an entirely different way. Wikipedia has a good explanation on how Stardates work.

IFIS Yuletide/Christmas/Hanukkah/Bodhi/Non-religion-specific (it is actually during the dates of Hanukkah) Meal

We're having a meal on the 2nd of december at the Al Ma Ma Ta. I've said we will arrive at approximately 1930. Do let the committee know if that is a problem for anyone. The menu is here: http://www.ifis.org.uk/social/polls/xmas2010.shtml. Please fill it out by the 28th of November. The meal will be subsidised by the society at a cost of £12. We haven't included drinks as quite a few people don't drink. Please let people who don't get email or access the website know and tell them to email choices to the committee address committee@ifis.org.uk.
