Stardates Explained - 20140304.2300

You don't understand the startdates?

Take, for example, 20140304.2300

Let me stick some spaces in some helpful places:

2014 03 04 . 23 00

That better?

20140304 means 4th March 2014, and 2300 is in 24-hour clock format, IE 11:00PM

Stardates in the Star Trek universe work in an entirely different way. Wikipedia has a good explanation on how Stardates work.

Inception

Inception is about a man who is skilled at hacking into peoples' dreams and stealing information. But his past exploits have resulted in him being on the run and unable to see his children. He's offered a chance of redemption and to be able to see them again if he performs one last job - one considered impossible by many - not to steal information, but to implant an idea. To do so he and his team have to delve within many layers of dreams, but as they execute their perfect plan they're unaware that they're being stalked by a dangerous enemy they couldn't have prepared for.
