B5 Videos

Hey, did you guys know you can now get Babylon 5 videos for one pound
each? What am I saying, you are IFIS, you must have known! Well, I've
exhausted my local supply (here in Hackney), and am still many volumes
short. So, can anyone tell me of anywhere in the Egham area selling
them, as they may have the volumes I'm missing. If so, pleases reply
to me directly at: children_of_danu@

B5 - Gotta catch 'em all!

I've seen them cheap but not this cheap. I seem to remember someone asking me
for B5 a few weeks back but I've forgotton who it was now. D'oh. The videos
have been officially deleted for a while now - ahead, I hope of a DVD release.

Speaking of which: Jacquie, did you do me a LotR tape ?
Got em all first time round. And with the original covers for the pilot and
V1-3.

There haven't been any announcements either way over here yet - JMS seems to
be keeping quiet over the possibility of the LOTR series.

On a slightly bad note though, the Sci-Fi channel seems to be getting
cancellation-happy. Friday evening is called "Friday Prime" and is when the
new/best series are broadcast. Well, in the past month or so about 3 shows
have been cancelled that are usually broadcast in this slot - Invisible Man,
The Chronicle and Lexx. The Invisible Man and The Chronicle were really
good programmes - decent sci-fi so I'm somewhat p***ed off that they've been
cancelled.

And, of course, the last few episodes of the current Farscape season are
being broadcast in April - which just happens to be when I'll be back in the
UK. And I'll be missing the rest of the current Angel season (which has
been moved around so often in the schedules, it's becoming interesting
trying to find it), the remainder of SG1 and the Jeremiah episodes as well
as Buffy and Enterprise. The only plus side to all of this is that at least
programmes in the US are shown over and over again until the next season
starts. I swear, visiting the UK in April is a really bad move!

Anyway, I'll be seeing some of you in a couple of weeks - I'm assuming that
folks will still be meeting at the Happy Man during the break?

you meeting up with the rugby club?

Sorry - it was a long day yesterday - I'm trying to train 2 other people to
cover for me while I'm in the UK, persuade the company that it's useful for
them to help me get the visa renewed, work out how to pay bills while I'm
away for a month....oh yeah, and get ready to fly back to the UK on
Saturday!

I did but I taped over it! Sorry. If it comes on again (this is the US -
programmes are always repeated!) I'll tape it again and send it to you
immediately!

The pound shop in Staines near WH Smith has them at 1 each... I have been
tempted to get some myself....

Got to go there before they sell out then, does anyone know anywhere in
central London still need to get last few of season 5 (actually still
not seen all of season 5) and one from season 1 then I will have them
all in nice shop brought copies.
