Job Description
Youre in charge! With the help and support of your committee, you can plan events and trips that you believe your members will enjoy. The student union (SU) also hosts meetings throughout the term which you (and your committee) will need to go to in order keep up with any news and alterations to the union; you also need to liaise with the SU for any enquiries that you may have. But above all, you need to get to know your members and respond to their comments.
All of this pays off with being the leader of a really cool society!
Advice to the next President
Have fun! Think of new creative ways to get everyone involved, including new members at the start of the academic year. Also dont try to do everything by yourself, you have a committee that you can rely on since the committee are relying on you to act as a leader.
